Our very first full-length album! Recorded a grueling pace over the span of 6 days at the media production studio on Oahu, Hawaii where many of the original band members worked and first met. Recorded, engineered and produced by the band's bassist/vocalist Michael C Hansen who found out a week before recording he would be losing his job at the studio where he worked. So we capitalized on his access to decent mics and chose to record this album instead of getting any other work done.

This album has a very stripped down feel to it as compared to our later releases. Mainly because this record comes from our very early formative years as a band. At this point in time the only drum we had was an old beat up floor tom we found on the side of the road in a trash heap (true!) we fixed it up best we could and made it into a marching drum, and squeezed as many sounds as possible from it. Most of the other instruments fell into the category of 'what do you have laying around'? Many of them were also hand made.

From these years and beyond our approach to creating music has always been "what have you got? play it! What genre have we not messed with yet...let's try it!' It's also this approach which has made it hard for us to really nail down a genre label for ourselves. So, enjoy this offering of: indie-jazz-dixie-rock-gypsy-anti-folk! (Thank god for hyphens).
